Overview

Want more?

Dumfries & Galloway a left turn just beyond the Lake District, the place where Scotland begins as you head north. A landscape of world class gravel where you can relax as time slows. 300 square miles of forest and more of empty moorland and coast waiting for you to explore.

Rides are guided, mostly double or single track, demanding at times with glorious views as payback. We tailor the days to your level of fitness and experience but we can adapt on the fly to make sure you get the most out of your time with us.

Coffee and cake are a must on every gravel ride, so we can show you how to make this special. There’s help and advice on equipment and navigation, and as a one time photographer, artist, farmer and wildlife ranger we have a wealth of knowledge and stories to share.

Bring your own bike - it can be a gravel or mountain bike, anything with 38mm tyres or above or rent from us. Let us know the sort of base distances and if you want to ride coast and tracks or forest fire road.

As featured in Red Bull’s 10 Best Gravel Trails in the UK and Cycling UK.

We partner with the best accommodation in the area - a minimum 2 nights stay and more. They offer secure bike storage with wash & lube and maintenance facilities.

This is a 2 night - 3 day guided tour, with Bed & Breakfast only option. See other option for half-board.
